Nearly a year ago I met Marianna in the pound. She had incredibly deformed front legs, but she never stopped wagging her tail. Marianna is an incredible dog who has been through so much over the last year. Surgery after surgery to give her a better quality of life. After every surgery, box rest, and physio yet she never stopped being happy. Marianna is an amazing dog who deserves the best home.

Just For Dogs

Fourteen years ago at three years of age, handsome cocker spaniel Charlie was handed into JFD for rehoming. Unfortunately his previous owners were a little economical with the truth as to why they could no longer keep him. However, we very quickly discovered that Charlie had a fence of imaginary boundaries that he chose to surround himself with and found to our peril what would happen should we overstep the mark! But what we also know is that on his terms Charlie is the most loving, happy and comical canine character around.

From Foster To Forever
Status: Successfully rehomed
Anthony is super sweet. Left wandering the streets to fend for himself for 5 years. Even tho he had a owner! He ended up in the kill station where we reserved him and got him home ?

All Dogs Matter

Breed: Cavalier King Charles Spaniel
Status: Successfully rehomed
Meet Holly, a loving Cavvie, who was sadly found abandoned, wandering the streets alone. From the poor state of her health, we believe she was repeatedly exploited for breeding and then stranded when she was could no longer produce any more litters. Once in our care, Holly was taken to the vet where we realised the sad extent of her health. Holly is deaf, blind, has painful ear infections, decayed teeth, and large mammary tumours on her teats – which are being removed. Despite her medical issues, Holly is a happy girl who wags her tail constantly in her forever home.

Monarchs Mutts
Breed: Bull Lurcher
Age: 7 months
Status: Currently in foster
Rolo is exuberant, energetic and still puppy mouths and has a mad half hour every day. Because he is a full on pup he has sadly been passed from pillar to post a lot already in his short life.
He is safe in foster with amazing foster carers, getting all the love and training he needs with people who have realistic expectations of how a rescue pup this age and breed behaves.
