Daphne
Rushton Dog Rescue
Breed: Bulldog
Status: Successfully adopted
Our beautiful girl Daphne has found her perfect adoptive home. We rescued Daphne from China, she was in a really bad way, emaciated, terrified, awful skin & so shut down. She really suffered over there & were so glad we came across her when we did.
After a long road to recovery Daphne was finally ready to search for her perfect home, we had a lot of interest in our girl which isn’t surprising... she’s gorgeous! We knew what type of home we wanted our girl in, and we have found the perfect match! Daphne has a lovely new home with a mum & dad who adore her & a big brother spaniel boy who has welcomed his new bulldog sister into his home. Daphne's new home is so perfect for her, she has her own woodland!!! How cool is that, she can potter around safely in her own environment with so much to sniff and investigate. She loved it and gave us the thumbs up to let these lovely people adopt her.
Go be super happy our brave little girl, be bold, be you!
Please vote for Daphne so we can continue to help more dogs like her in our care.

Wild At Heart Foundation
Breed: Mix
Status: Successfully adopted
Ernie is one of the lucky dogs that has found his forever home. Getting Ernie felt like it was meant to be. We adopted Ernie from Greece in November 2019 and he fit right in from day one. He even did his very best to win over our cats!
Ernie wasn’t familiar with public, which was understandable really, or having to meet so many new people so this was a real challenge at the beginning. The Wild at Heart Foundation team explained that rescue dogs need time and patience to grow accustomed to their new lives, so we were well prepared for this. He now hops on and off public transport quite happily and is a firm favourite with all our friends now that he’s had time to get to know them.
Adopting Ernie has changed our lives in so many ways but the best has been helping our close friend overcome her fear of dogs. For a little pup from Greece, we think that’s a pretty impressive legacy!
Please vote for Ernie so we can continue to help more dogs like him in our care.

The Stubbington Ark
Breed: Cane corso cross
Status: Successfully adopted
This is Ella, she is a Cane Corso cross, 2 years old. Ella came into our care on May last year because her owner could no longer cope with her. On arrival Ella saw our vet and had to be put on specific food to help with her skin/coat and was also put on some medication. Ella needed a few sessions with our behaviourist and a lot of work was put into training her with the kennel team. We get regular updates from her new family, Ella goes on lots of adventures and is one very happy dog!
Please vote for Ella so we can continue to help more dogs like her in our care.

Petwelfare Stafford
Breed: Border Collie
Status: Successfully adopted
Bruno is our Valentine's baby. The poor boy was left alone, after his elderly owner went into hospital and sadly never returned. Bruno was home alone day and night, but being fed by a neighbour. When Petwelfare Stafford arrived, he met us at the door, saggy tail, with his teddy, so pleased to see someone. Bruno had a tumour removed and damage to his lumbar region.
Bruno is a happy chappy, craving love, and soon found his forever home.
Please vote for Bruno so we can continue to help more dogs like him in our care.
