This week's dogs!

Jasmine

Rushton Dog Rescue
Breed: Crossbreed
Status: Lives at the centre

Jasmine is a survivor of the Chinese meat trade. She was kept in a breeding facility with her back legs bound together for years - she was then sold to the meat traders. As a result when we rescued her her little back legs were fused and cannot extend. She lives with us with her sister Ariel. She is a happy girl who everyone adores ?

Please vote for Jasmine so we can continue to help more dogs like her in our care.

Dora

Wild At Heart Foundation
Breed: Mix
Status: Successfully adopted

Oliver and Johanna always agreed that they wanted to adopt a medium sized, scruffy looking dog. They were introduced to the Foundation by a family friend who had also just recently adopted. One day whilst waiting to catch a ferry home from Normandy, the couple came across Dora, a scruffy Wire-haired Griffon mix, who had just been added to our website that day – their hearts suddenly leapt and they couldn’t help but register their interest and get the ball rolling to bring her home!

When they collected Dora they were asked where she would sleep by our transporters, they quickly explained that Dora was so loving that she’d no doubt end up on the bed with them… and of course she has! She slept through the night from day one and is still the last one to wake up in the morning!

It took her a little while to conquer walking on the lead but now Dora can’t wait to go for walkies! She is incredibly social and loves playing with people and other dogs, going to the park is now one of the best moments of her day. Dora just celebrated her first birthday and to know that life could have been a whole lot different for Dora who battled parvovirus whilst in Greece, they couldn’t imagine any other life for her now and they are so glad she is part of theirs.

Please vote for Dora so we can continue to help more dogs like her in our care.

Snickers

Hampshire Paws Animal Rescue
Breed: Mix
Status: Currently in foster

Snickers lived with his mother and siblings in a woodland in Romania. People from the village fed them regularly and one day they turned up to feed the dogs and someone had poisoned them. Snickers and his brother were the only survivors, which lead to them being brought into a shelter. Snickers was very traumatized and would not accept a human touch. He came to the UK and is now learning how to trust people and is learning to become a member of the family. We can't wait to see how this amazing boy progresses.

Please vote for Snickers so we can continue to help more dogs like him in our care.

Eddie

Petwelfare Stafford
Breed: Dutch herd dog
Status: Successfully adopted

Poor Eddie has suffered extensive abuse and mistreatment in his short life, and lacks socialization and basic training. Eddie was a complicated rescue, but was finally saved from a burning boat, he suffered smoke inhalation. Eddie came to us a tight ball of all that had happened to him. Frightened of being in a house and no idea how to behave. All this at only 10 months old ?. He went onto an intensive training program and blossomed. He has now been adopted by two lovely people who are just right for Eddie. They will continue with his training. He deserves all the happiness.

Please vote for Eddie so we can continue to help more dogs like him in our care.
